Authorities Identify The 12 Victims Killed In Theater Shooting
AURORA, Colo. -- Veronica Moser-Sullivan: Six-year-old whose mother Ashley Moser is in critical condition. Ashley Moser drifted in and out of consciousness in the ICU
a bullet lodged in her throat and a gunshot wound to her abdomen. In her waking moments, she called for her 6-year-old daughter Veronica.
Nobody had the heart to tell the 25-year-old mother that Veronica was already dead, the youngest victim killed at a Colorado movie theater in one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history.
"All she's asking about, of course, is her daughter," said Annie Dalton, who is Ashley Moser's aunt.
Dalton said Veronica was "a vibrant 6-year-old. She was excited, she'd just learned how to swim. She was a great little girl, excited about life – she should be at 6 years old."
The little girl was among those who died when a gunman barged into a crowded theater in a Denver suburb, set off gas canisters and opened fire, killing 12 people and wounding 58 others.

Colorado suspect charged with multiple murder counts
The 25-year-old mom, who was critically wounded when a gunman opened fire at a Colorado Dark Knight Rises premiere, suffered a miscarriage.
Colorado authorities Saturday released the names of the victims killed in the rampage. There were eight men, three women and Veronica Moser-Sullivan, the youngest slain. Gordon Cowden was the oldest.
He was 51. All died of gunshot wounds, according to the release by the Arapahoe County coroner's office.
One of the 12, Matt McQuinn: 27-year-old shot and killed while shielding his girlfriend, Samantha Yowler
has been tentatively identified and is awaiting final identification, though his family's attorney confirmed to The Associated Press that McQuinn was among those killed.
Rob Scott of Dayton, Ohio, said McQuinn died after diving in front of his girlfriend and her older brother to shield them from the gunfire.
His girlfriend, Samantha Yowler, was in fair condition after being shot in the knee. Her brother, Nick Yowler, was not injured.
The couple had moved to Colorado from Ohio last fall, Scott said.
For Alex Sullivan, it was to be a weekend of fun: He planned to ring in his 27th birthday with friends at the special midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" and then celebrate his first wedding anniversary Sunday.
Late Friday, Sullivan's family confirmed that police told them he was among those killed.
"He was a very, very good young man," said Sullivan's uncle, Joe Loewenguth. "He always had a smile, always made you laugh. He had a little bit of comic in him. Witty, smart. He was loving, had a big heart."
Micayla Medek:, 23, also was killed.
Her father's cousin, Anita Busch, told the Associated Press that the news, while heartbreaking, was a relief for the family after an agonizing day.
"You can't go that long without knowing," she said. "I hope this evil act ... doesn't shake people's faith in God."
Navy cryptologist John Larimer went to the theater with three other sailors from nearby Buckley Air Force Base, Navy Cmdr. Jeffrey Jakuboski said. Larimer was shot and killed, and Jakuboski said losing Larimer felt like losing "one of my sons."
"Losing a sailor, whether it's in combat or whether it's in a horrific domestic situation like this, it's hard. It's tough," he said.
Larimer's family said his brother is working with the Navy to take his body home to Crystal Lake, Ill.
An Air Force reservist who worked at Buckley also was killed in the rampage.Sgt.Jesse Childress, 29, was a cyber-systems operator from Thornton, Colo., said Air Force Capt. Andrew Williams.
Williams described Childress as knowledgeable, experienced and respectful. He says Childress was athletic and played in a kickball and volleyball tournament on base. "He was always our star," Williams said.
A vigil was to be held Saturday night for Alexander "AJ" Boik of Aurora. 
His family issued a statement saying that he was loved by all that knew him and was dating "a beautiful young lady" who was with him at the theater and survived.
"We want to try and focus on the beautiful lives that were ended and not the evil that is responsible," the family said.
The family of Cowden, another Aurora resident, didn't want to speak to the press Saturday afternoon.
After graduating from high school in Reno, Nev., victim Jon Blunk:

served in the Navy between 2004 and 2009 and most recently worked at a hardware store, according to close friend James Gill of Brighton, Colo.
Blunk had plans to re-enlist with a goal of becoming a Navy SEAL, said Gill, who lived with Blunk several years in the Navy and later in Aurora.
Gill described his friend as an avid outdoorsman and gun rights advocate.
"Pretty much every weapon the guy in the theater used he owned," Gill said. "If you asked if he was still alive, he would have said his only regret is he didn't have his sidearm with him and he couldn't do anything to stop him."
Rebecca Ann Wingo 32,
had started a job several months ago as a customer relations representative at a mobile medical imaging company.
Shannon Dominguez, who worked with Wingo on weekends, said she was friendly with everyone and always seemed to be in a good mood.
"I didn't really know her well but she had a really bubbly personality," Dominguez said. "She was a pretty happy person. She just never really seemed ... like with work, she never got irritated. She was pretty happy to be here."
Alex Teves:, 24, graduated in June from the University of Denver with a master's degree in counseling psychology, the school said.
The university identified Teves' hometown as Phoenix. School officials said they had no other information immediately available.
An aspiring sports reporter who recently wrote a blog post about surviving a Toronto shooting was killed, the woman's brother said.
The death of Jessica Ghawi, who was also known as Jessica Redfield, was a "complete and utter shock," said her brother, Jordan Ghawi.
Jessica Ghawi 24, moved to Denver from Texas about a year ago and friends and colleagues described her as outgoing, smart and witty.
Ghawi blogged at length about surviving the Eaton Centre mall shooting in Toronto that killed two people and sent several others to the hospital.
Jessica Ghawi:wrote of the Toronto shooting: "I was shown how fragile life was on Saturday. I saw the terror on bystanders' faces. I saw the victims of a senseless crime. I saw lives change. I was reminded that we don't know when or where our time on Earth will end. When or where we will breathe our last breath."

Right-Wing Gun Group: Was Aurora an Inside Job?
All indications from the Aurora Police Department are that Batman gunman James Holmes acted alone, for reasons that have yet to be established. But Larry Pratt—the president of Gun Owners of America, a far-right Second Amendment group that's backed by prominent people like Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)—has a different theory. Pratt believes the timing of Holmes' rampage, which left 12 people dead and 58 wounded, seemed designed to coincide with the upcoming negotiation of the United Nations Small Arms Treaty. A press release sent out to radio bookers on Tuesday advertising Pratt's availability noted that, "In an article posted at The New American...one expert even outlined a theory that Holmes didn't act alone, but was possibly 'enlisted' to carry out his violent act." The gunman entered theater nine, at the Century 16 cinema, which was showing a midnight premiere of the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises, and opened fire. Jessica Ghawi, 24, was the first to be identified as among the dead, while a six-year-old girl was also killed.
• James Holmes, 24, has been identified by police as the suspected gunman. Holmes was apprehended by police at the scene, without putting up resistance. The gunman, who grew up in San Diego, California, had been living in Colorado for about a year. Holmes had been studying at the University of Colorado Denver's medical school, but dropped out a month ago, the university said.
• Aurora police chief Dan Oates said Holmes, clad in black protective gear including a military-style helmet, ballistic vest, and black mask and gloves, had entered through a door at the front of the theater. Holmes deployed two devices, Oates said, which dispersed an irritant gas or smoke, before opening fire. Police said Holmes had used a shotgun, an assault rifle and a Glock handgun.

Denver Airport’s Secret Underground Base
In 1995, the Denver International Airport opened its doors to the public. What the public saw in this enormous compound was breathtaking, confusing, and… weird.
Before we explore some of the Denver oddities, let us take a look at how the airport came to be, for the very construction of the building is shrouded in as much mystery as the end result.
Normally, when a project of this magnitude is undertaken, one contractor will oversee the construction from beginning to end. This is to ensure a continuity of the original vision, as well as eliminating needless argument over the way a work site is handled. A series of sub-contractors will be hired to carry out the plans set forth by the main overseer.
In the case of the Denver International Airport (DIA), a far more unorthodox approach was used. All of the work was done by sub contractors, who were hired to do a small, isolated task, and then they were let go at its completion. Indeed, these construction workers were dismissed from the premises the MOMENT they were done with their work. This was done in an effort to secure the fact that no single company or person ever saw the complete vision of what the DIA was to become.
At one point during the construction, five large structures were completed, and then determined to have been incorrectly positioned. Rather than demolishing them and starting over, or adjusting the structures, they were buried, and the construction was started anew on top of the old structures.
The end result was a massive compound, that when looked upon from an aerial view, sits precisely in the shape of a swastika. The aesthetic oddness does not end there.
Outside the Airport stands a 32 ft tall statue of a rearing blue Mustang. This horse has alternately been referred to as “Bluecifer,” “Satan’s Steed” and “Blue Devil Horse.” So striking and disturbing is this statue, that it has prompted petitions and organizations to sprout up, demanding its removal. The sculptor of the piece was an artist named Luis Jiménez. Strangely, he was killed while building the statue, when it fell on top of him, severing an artery. His sons completed the project.
Those who study the Conspiratorial aspects of our Government, have noted that the Mustang bears a striking resemblance to a horse associated with The Montauk Project
, a secret government program linked to mind control and other fantastic claims. The Montauk Project is connected with the Philadelphia Experiment, a case of time bending disaster carried out by the U.S. Military. Both the Montauk Project and the Philadelphia Experiment will be explored in further detail in upcoming E.I. posts.
Within the great hall of the DIA is a capstone commemorating the construction and completion of the project. In the center of the stone is the Masonic symbol of a compass, along with a dedication by the “New World Airport Commission”. Several groups have investigated this organization, and found that it is unique to the DIA. No other airport has been connected with such a group. Of course, this has raised the blood pressure of more than a few conspiracy theorists, who see the connection to the phrase “New World Order”. And of course, the rest of the building does nothing to lessen those worries.
There are mysterious writings on the floor throughout the DIA. One phrase carved into the floor is “DZIT DIT GAII”. This is Navajo for “The Mountain that is White”. There are several other areas on the floor that simply say “Mt. Blanca”. What could this be referencing? Well, one theory is that if the Masons were in charge of the planning of this building (which they clearly were involved given the inscription and symbol on the capstone), then it could be referring to Mt Blanc or White Mountain in France, which is where the Knights Templar signed their charter. Freemasons trace their lineage back to the Knights Templar, so the connection seems to fit. At Mt. Blanc, one Templar wrote, “They gathered to form a New Order”. Interesting?
Also inside the great hall are a couple of Gargoyles, whose presence in an Airport, or inside any building that isn’t a church or temple, is quite odd. Gargoyles that are not designed to divert water runoff, (their original purpose) are actually called chimeras, or grotesques. They are said to ward off evil spirits. From the looks of these two, it appears that their purpose is to ward off the evil spirits of lost luggage.
The most intriguing and arguably the most disturbing aspect of the Denver International Airport are its murals. These bizarre paintings seem relatively bright and cheerful at first glance, but upon closer inspection, are quite odd.
One of the murals is called “Children of the World Dream of Peace”. Oh, isn’t that nice? Well, it would be, if it weren’t for the fact that the mural depicts genocide, famine, military oppression, and death. Hovering over the “children of the world” is a grotesque alien-like, Nazi-esque, gas mask wearing uniformed figure, who is in the act of spearing the Dove of Peace with a giant sword. He is surrounded by women holding dead babies. There are dead children lying in coffins, and kids with swords wrapped in their nation’s flags. The mural is covered with images of war and death.

Another mural features children surrounding what appears to be a “new messiah”, offering it plants with some sort of magical or mystical quality. The whole thing strikes meas weird and morbid.
In fairness, I will include here that the artist of these murals, Leo Tanguma, says that the murals are about environmentalism and preservation of Earth. He says that as a Christian, he sees the murals as his sermons.
“The first part of the environmental mural is about the ways that humans destroy nature and themselves through destruction and genocide. The second part is about humanity coming together to rehabilitate nature and revive their own compassion.” Tanguma is quoted as saying.
With that said, the murals and the giant blue horse are not the only items of intrigue. There are many reported anomalies about the DIA. One is the frequent occurrence of cracked windshields of planes. Some have speculated that this is due to an abnormally high or low frequency pulse that is being emanated by the airport. According to Compilots.com, there were 13 windshields that cracked in February of 2007. The official reason is supposedly high winds, although there is no explanation as to why high winds have never caused such a series of cracks at other airports. It is still considered a mystery. In December of 2008, a plane with a mysterious crack in its fuselage actually burst into flame on the runway, injuring several passengers.
Also, there is the matter of the property surrounding the DIA. After the completion of the airport, the property on its outskirts suddenly became “hot property”, and was bought up by a who’s who of the wealthy and important. The Queen of England is reported to have purchased some property near by. Why? Well, this leads to the final theory that we will explore.
Some say, that there is an underground base beneath the DIA. Phil Schneider, a government whistle-blower, claimed that in the last year of DIA construction, a vast eight level deep underground base was constructed below the compound. He also said that there is an unusually high electro-magnetic frequency emanating from below the DIA. What does this have to do with the Queen of England?
Well, some speculate that the area below the airport is intended to be an enormous bunker, designed to shield the elite from some sort of an impending catastrophe. And “ark”, if you will. Then there are those who say it is a military base, where Top Secret experiments are being carried out, right under the noses of travelers.
Whether or not there is something sinister afoot at the Denver International Airport, there is no doubt that it is a bizarre and somewhat frightening place. Visitors of the airport often complain of feeling uneasy and distressed when inside the walls of this building, which one would think is the exact opposite reaction the builders would want for an airport.

Late Friday, Sullivan's family confirmed that police told them he was among those killed.
"He was a very, very good young man," said Sullivan's uncle, Joe Loewenguth. "He always had a smile, always made you laugh. He had a little bit of comic in him. Witty, smart. He was loving, had a big heart."
Micayla Medek:, 23, also was killed.
Her father's cousin, Anita Busch, told the Associated Press that the news, while heartbreaking, was a relief for the family after an agonizing day.
"You can't go that long without knowing," she said. "I hope this evil act ... doesn't shake people's faith in God."
Navy cryptologist John Larimer went to the theater with three other sailors from nearby Buckley Air Force Base, Navy Cmdr. Jeffrey Jakuboski said. Larimer was shot and killed, and Jakuboski said losing Larimer felt like losing "one of my sons."
"Losing a sailor, whether it's in combat or whether it's in a horrific domestic situation like this, it's hard. It's tough," he said.
Larimer's family said his brother is working with the Navy to take his body home to Crystal Lake, Ill.
An Air Force reservist who worked at Buckley also was killed in the rampage.Sgt.Jesse Childress, 29, was a cyber-systems operator from Thornton, Colo., said Air Force Capt. Andrew Williams.
Williams described Childress as knowledgeable, experienced and respectful. He says Childress was athletic and played in a kickball and volleyball tournament on base. "He was always our star," Williams said.
A vigil was to be held Saturday night for Alexander "AJ" Boik of Aurora.
His family issued a statement saying that he was loved by all that knew him and was dating "a beautiful young lady" who was with him at the theater and survived.
"We want to try and focus on the beautiful lives that were ended and not the evil that is responsible," the family said.
The family of Cowden, another Aurora resident, didn't want to speak to the press Saturday afternoon.
After graduating from high school in Reno, Nev., victim Jon Blunk:
26, of Aurora, Colo.,
served in the Navy between 2004 and 2009 and most recently worked at a hardware store, according to close friend James Gill of Brighton, Colo.
Blunk had plans to re-enlist with a goal of becoming a Navy SEAL, said Gill, who lived with Blunk several years in the Navy and later in Aurora.
Gill described his friend as an avid outdoorsman and gun rights advocate.
"Pretty much every weapon the guy in the theater used he owned," Gill said. "If you asked if he was still alive, he would have said his only regret is he didn't have his sidearm with him and he couldn't do anything to stop him."
Rebecca Ann Wingo 32,
had started a job several months ago as a customer relations representative at a mobile medical imaging company.
Shannon Dominguez, who worked with Wingo on weekends, said she was friendly with everyone and always seemed to be in a good mood.
"I didn't really know her well but she had a really bubbly personality," Dominguez said. "She was a pretty happy person. She just never really seemed ... like with work, she never got irritated. She was pretty happy to be here."
Alex Teves:, 24, graduated in June from the University of Denver with a master's degree in counseling psychology, the school said.
The university identified Teves' hometown as Phoenix. School officials said they had no other information immediately available.
An aspiring sports reporter who recently wrote a blog post about surviving a Toronto shooting was killed, the woman's brother said.
The death of Jessica Ghawi, who was also known as Jessica Redfield, was a "complete and utter shock," said her brother, Jordan Ghawi.
Jessica Ghawi 24, moved to Denver from Texas about a year ago and friends and colleagues described her as outgoing, smart and witty.
Ghawi blogged at length about surviving the Eaton Centre mall shooting in Toronto that killed two people and sent several others to the hospital.
Jessica Ghawi:wrote of the Toronto shooting: "I was shown how fragile life was on Saturday. I saw the terror on bystanders' faces. I saw the victims of a senseless crime. I saw lives change. I was reminded that we don't know when or where our time on Earth will end. When or where we will breathe our last breath."

All indications from the Aurora Police Department are that Batman gunman James Holmes acted alone, for reasons that have yet to be established. But Larry Pratt—the president of Gun Owners of America, a far-right Second Amendment group that's backed by prominent people like Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)—has a different theory. Pratt believes the timing of Holmes' rampage, which left 12 people dead and 58 wounded, seemed designed to coincide with the upcoming negotiation of the United Nations Small Arms Treaty. A press release sent out to radio bookers on Tuesday advertising Pratt's availability noted that, "In an article posted at The New American...one expert even outlined a theory that Holmes didn't act alone, but was possibly 'enlisted' to carry out his violent act." Names of victims killed in the Aurora theater shooting emerged Saturday, along with details about those who lost their lives.
• Twelve people have been killed and 59 injured after a gunman opened fire in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. The gunman entered theater nine, at the Century 16 cinema, which was showing a midnight premiere of the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises, and opened fire. Jessica Ghawi, 24, was the first to be identified as among the dead, while a six-year-old girl was also killed.
• James Holmes, 24, has been identified by police as the suspected gunman. Holmes was apprehended by police at the scene, without putting up resistance. The gunman, who grew up in San Diego, California, had been living in Colorado for about a year. Holmes had been studying at the University of Colorado Denver's medical school, but dropped out a month ago, the university said.
• Aurora police chief Dan Oates said Holmes, clad in black protective gear including a military-style helmet, ballistic vest, and black mask and gloves, had entered through a door at the front of the theater. Holmes deployed two devices, Oates said, which dispersed an irritant gas or smoke, before opening fire. Police said Holmes had used a shotgun, an assault rifle and a Glock handgun.

Denver Airport’s Secret Underground Base
In 1995, the Denver International Airport opened its doors to the public. What the public saw in this enormous compound was breathtaking, confusing, and… weird.
Before we explore some of the Denver oddities, let us take a look at how the airport came to be, for the very construction of the building is shrouded in as much mystery as the end result.
Normally, when a project of this magnitude is undertaken, one contractor will oversee the construction from beginning to end. This is to ensure a continuity of the original vision, as well as eliminating needless argument over the way a work site is handled. A series of sub-contractors will be hired to carry out the plans set forth by the main overseer.
In the case of the Denver International Airport (DIA), a far more unorthodox approach was used. All of the work was done by sub contractors, who were hired to do a small, isolated task, and then they were let go at its completion. Indeed, these construction workers were dismissed from the premises the MOMENT they were done with their work. This was done in an effort to secure the fact that no single company or person ever saw the complete vision of what the DIA was to become.
At one point during the construction, five large structures were completed, and then determined to have been incorrectly positioned. Rather than demolishing them and starting over, or adjusting the structures, they were buried, and the construction was started anew on top of the old structures.
The end result was a massive compound, that when looked upon from an aerial view, sits precisely in the shape of a swastika. The aesthetic oddness does not end there.

Within the great hall of the DIA is a capstone commemorating the construction and completion of the project. In the center of the stone is the Masonic symbol of a compass, along with a dedication by the “New World Airport Commission”. Several groups have investigated this organization, and found that it is unique to the DIA. No other airport has been connected with such a group. Of course, this has raised the blood pressure of more than a few conspiracy theorists, who see the connection to the phrase “New World Order”. And of course, the rest of the building does nothing to lessen those worries.
Also inside the great hall are a couple of Gargoyles, whose presence in an Airport, or inside any building that isn’t a church or temple, is quite odd. Gargoyles that are not designed to divert water runoff, (their original purpose) are actually called chimeras, or grotesques. They are said to ward off evil spirits. From the looks of these two, it appears that their purpose is to ward off the evil spirits of lost luggage.
One of the murals is called “Children of the World Dream of Peace”. Oh, isn’t that nice? Well, it would be, if it weren’t for the fact that the mural depicts genocide, famine, military oppression, and death. Hovering over the “children of the world” is a grotesque alien-like, Nazi-esque, gas mask wearing uniformed figure, who is in the act of spearing the Dove of Peace with a giant sword. He is surrounded by women holding dead babies. There are dead children lying in coffins, and kids with swords wrapped in their nation’s flags. The mural is covered with images of war and death.Another mural features children surrounding what appears to be a “new messiah”, offering it plants with some sort of magical or mystical quality. The whole thing strikes meas weird and morbid.

In fairness, I will include here that the artist of these murals, Leo Tanguma, says that the murals are about environmentalism and preservation of Earth. He says that as a Christian, he sees the murals as his sermons.
“The first part of the environmental mural is about the ways that humans destroy nature and themselves through destruction and genocide. The second part is about humanity coming together to rehabilitate nature and revive their own compassion.” Tanguma is quoted as saying.
With that said, the murals and the giant blue horse are not the only items of intrigue. There are many reported anomalies about the DIA. One is the frequent occurrence of cracked windshields of planes. Some have speculated that this is due to an abnormally high or low frequency pulse that is being emanated by the airport. According to Compilots.com, there were 13 windshields that cracked in February of 2007. The official reason is supposedly high winds, although there is no explanation as to why high winds have never caused such a series of cracks at other airports. It is still considered a mystery. In December of 2008, a plane with a mysterious crack in its fuselage actually burst into flame on the runway, injuring several passengers.
Also, there is the matter of the property surrounding the DIA. After the completion of the airport, the property on its outskirts suddenly became “hot property”, and was bought up by a who’s who of the wealthy and important. The Queen of England is reported to have purchased some property near by. Why? Well, this leads to the final theory that we will explore.
Well, some speculate that the area below the airport is intended to be an enormous bunker, designed to shield the elite from some sort of an impending catastrophe. And “ark”, if you will. Then there are those who say it is a military base, where Top Secret experiments are being carried out, right under the noses of travelers.
Whether or not there is something sinister afoot at the Denver International Airport, there is no doubt that it is a bizarre and somewhat frightening place. Visitors of the airport often complain of feeling uneasy and distressed when inside the walls of this building, which one would think is the exact opposite reaction the builders would want for an airport.
