Remembering EE Cleveland Two Year Anniversary of Him Falling Asleep in Jesus Arms

E.E. Cleveland Portrait
Evangelist E.E. Cleveland is consider to be the top Evangelist for truth in modern times. He picked up his mantel for truth at an early age and never laid it down. In spite of world opinion and offers of corporate sponsorship, E.E. Cleveland sought only the honor of his heavenly Father. He was a man who could not be brought or sold, a man of conviction and integrity. The Luciferian powers in place tried to destroy him numerous times but the Almighty God kept the evil forces in check. Tens of thousands of people were added to the side of truth because of Elder E.E. Cleveland. His main focus in his presentations was the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and not the diabolical rapture doctrine that Illuminati sponsor TV Evangelists have used to seduced many christians and directing them down the broad road of destruction.
Evangelist E. E. Cleveland fought a good fight and finished his course. Now there is laid up for him a crown of righteousness which no man can ever take away. The common theme throughout his celebration service was 1Thess.4:16-18 – 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words. Tributes were paid by the church officials as well as videos tributes from former Oakwood President Dr. Calvin Rock and US Senate Chaplain Barry Black. Musical tributes were given by Elder T. Marshall Kelley, the E.E.Cleveland’s Cathedral Quartet, Oakwood Aeolians Choir, and Wintley Phipps. Elder Steven Norman III gave a soul stirring tribute on the Life and Times of Edward Earl Cleveland. Elder C.D. Brooks performed the Eulogy.

E. E. Cleveland was a very successful evangelist holding over 60 campaigns in 6 continents and training over 1,000 pastors.[4] He was a Seventh-day Adventist church pioneer of the concept of evangelism in large cities and held national campaigns before satellite technology become common.
In what has been called one of the most successful evangelistic campaigns in Adventist history Cleveland was the first Seventh-day Adventist to baptize more than 1,000 people in a single campaign.[4] Held in 1966 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad the series was housed in two large tents pitched side by side and opened with 3,300 people in attendance, swelling to 7,000 by the final service.[5]
In his campaigns, Cleveland baptized approximately 16,000 persons, including George Juko, the Crown Prince of Uganda.[4] Many churches have been founded as a result of his campaigns. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Rev. Ralph David Abernathy and Rosa Parks are said to have attended his services in Montgomery.
On February 25, 1993, Dr. E.E. Cleveland was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr. collegium of preachers and scholars at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.[4]

Second Year Anniversary of Joshua Falling Asleep in Jesus Arms

Joshua's Homecoming Celebration

joshua.hodges.magpic Marvin “Joshua” Hodges III, who traveled abroad to Jamaica just months after graduating from Andrews University (Michigan) with his Master’s of Divinity in hand and lost his life (August 26, 2009) in its prime, at the tender age of 25.
He had a big heart, a beautiful spirit, was both well liked and most importantly… well loved. On August 28, 2009 at around 9:30am PST, his parents, Marvin and Joy Hodges received the shocking news… Joshua’s body was recovered on a Jamaican beach after having been washed ashore miles away from the nearest“swimming”beach, mere hours after he hadn’t shown up for his flight back to the U.S. With incomplete and conflicting information trickling in from the U.S. Embassy (Jamaica) and the Jamaican authorities, one solid piece of advice was given to Marvin and Joy Hodges… “Come and get Joshua’s body and take it back to the United StatesA.S.A.P.!” The United States Embassy made it clear that time is of the essence; so the Hodges’ need to raise money QUICKLYand NEED YOUR FINANCIAL HELP!
Joshua was another brilliant young man, learned in Hebrew and Greek biblical texts. He mentored the disadvantaged and disenfranchised andalways sought out those who were misunderstood to offer an ear, a shoulder a word of encouragement and a loving soul. He had his whole life ahead of him and it was senselessly cut short.
Here’s how you can help…
1. Donate whatever you can [financially and in the way of correspondence to your senators, congressmen and local politicians]
2. spread the word around to all of your contacts through email, telephone, snail mail, etc.
Marvin and Joy need to raise between $12,000.00 and $14,000.00 for them to be able to go, claim their son’s body and ready it for the return trip to the States. They’ve experienced the effects of the downturn in economy, much like many of us in our country, and are not in a position to absorb the costs of a trip of this magnitude; and although this figure doesn’t reflect the costs of funeral services, burial and the like our focus for now is on getting Joshua home.

As we get more information and we learn more of what the family’s needs are we’ll share it with you here, updating you on how you can help. We’ll also keep you posted on the developments of the case as we try to bring the much needed clarity and closure to the circumstances surrounding Joshua’s untimely death, his grieving family and friends.
So go right now to the donate button or link on your screen and click on it. It will take you to a secure page where you can make your donation.
