April 21 "marked the 100th day since the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti, leaving between 250,000 and 300,000 people dead," said Edmond Mulet, the head of the UN mission in Haiti.
Mr Mulet also said that 300,000 people were wounded in the disaster, and more than one million people were left homeless.
The 7.0-magnitude quake left much of Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince in ruins, destroying infrastructure and the seat of government and causing a humanitarian catastrophe in a country already considered the poorest in the Americas.

SILVER SPRING, Md. —A devastating 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit southern Haiti on Tuesday, January 12, destroying buildings and triggering tsunami alerts for Haiti and the surrounding islands in the Caribbean.
Within the first hour, the earthquake, which struck 10 miles (15 kilometers) outside the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince, was followed by two powerful aftershocks registering at a magnitude of 5.9 and 5.5 respectively. According to government officials, this is the strongest earthquake that has ever struck the region.
"I think it is really a catastrophe of major proportions," reported Raymond Joseph, Haiti's ambassador to the United States telling Atlanta-based news agency CNN.
At present, no reports of deaths or injuries have been announced, however some early reports indicate extensive damage to infrastructure in some areas. The Associated Press reported that a hospital collapsed during the quake.
ADRA is currently monitoring and evaluating the situation. Updates will be released as response efforts expand.

Pat Robertson: Haiti Is Cursed, 'Swore A Pact To The Devil' (VIDEO)

PAT ROBERTSON: And, you know, Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, "We will serve you if you will get us free from the French." True story. And so, the devil said, "OK, it's a deal."

And they kicked the French out. You know, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free. But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after the other. Desperately poor. That island of Hispaniola is one island. It's cut down the middle. On the one side is Haiti; on the other side is the Dominican Republic. Dominican Republic is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, et cetera. Haiti is in desperate poverty. Same island. They need to have and we need to pray for them a great turning to God. And out of this tragedy, I'm optimistic something good may come. But right now, we're helping the suffering people, and the suffering is unimaginable.

I read it and found it pretty interesting, i'm not a religious person, but i found a lot of truth on about fasle religions on why there are so many different religion denominations, and in "traditional christianity" on false teachings from religion leaders that basically are all lies. In plain truth, we all had been lied to about religious beliefs for centuries.

Pat could almost be forgiven, he is not all there anymore and Irrvelant. But what was the deal with that living vacuum next to him? Pat's days on this side of dirt are numbered so he's looking for some attention, why would his co-host not stop, correct, tone down what was being said by him though? Nodding like a newly shaken bobble head is not the best way to protect Pat from himself.

What is the difference between people in mental institutions and the people who run the Christian Broadcasting Network, including crackpot Pat? I have no idea.
